About Me

My name is Alee Meller and I'm a freelance editor, cinematographer, director and producer. My work typically focusses around emotive projects, aiming to deeply relate with my audience and show varied situations from a different perspective. Either real life events or narrative. The ugliness or the beauty in humanity.
I have a strong mentality on promoting and helping others in the industry, I'm always happy to collaborate. I throw myself fully into every project, wanting my clients not to just have an amazing product but one they loved working on, from start to finish.

OUR SERVICES

Editor
I'm a strong, stylistic editor who is always looking for a challenge. I enjoy experimental ideas where problem solving is key or keeping to the more conventional ways of editing. I'm well versed with Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve.

Cinematographer
As a cinematographer, I am keen to make each frame as close to the directors vision, while also having my own ideas on how to compose or light a scene. I can shape the mood, atmosphere, and invoke emotion with my choices.

Director
As a director, I make sure to put my team first. While making my own unique ideas, I make sure there's space for everyone to share their own. I want my sets to feel collaborative, homely and productive.

Producer
I'm well organised, getting documents completed and sent out ahead of time. I always push myself to go the extra mile, ensuring the project is on track, safe, clear and fun. And I'm not afraid of confrontation in difficult situations that put the project in jeopardy.
